A massive congratulations to our Stockport County Adults' Disability football team who won the plate competition at the Cheshire Ability Counts Football League on Saturday.

We are really proud of all of the players who have progressed so much across the four corner model recently. A big well done to coaches Matti and Josh who led the team on Saturday also. Disability Football Development Officer Adrian Bates said "Congratulations to coaches Matti and Josh for brilliantly coaching our team who were fantastic on the day. This will be a massive boost of confidence for the team, winning the Cheshire Plate and bringing it back to Stockport, having played so well on the day".

SCFC Foundation Trustee Mark Sanderson, who supported the team on the day, said: "I'm delighted to have been part of such a great day. We're really proud of the team and it's fantastic to see all the hard work from both players and coaches pay off with their Plate win".

Our Disability Teams train from 6-7pm on Mondays (U16) and Wednesdays (adults) at Houldsworth Sports Village, SK5 7AT. We are always delighted to welcome new players along to either group, so if you or someone you know would like to get involved, then don't hesitate to get in touch with Adrian at
