We are delighted to announce that Stockport County Community Foundation have been chosen as one of the 16 charities to be awarded a prize for the Vernon Building Society Jubilee Fund 2017.

The Vernon Jubilee Fund supports a selection of charities with a £10,000 pot each year. The fund has existed since 2012 and has raised £50,000.

Each charity will get a % of the pot, based on the amount of votes they receive. Votes are collected via tokens in the Stockport Express or via the Vernon Facebook page.

Voting opens on the 9th August, running weekly throughout the month and into early September. Every vote makes a big difference, so if you would like to support the Community Foundation, please head to the Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/vernonbuildingsociety) from Wednesday to vote for us! Alternatively, of course, use the tokens in the Stockport Express to support us, too. Tokens can be handed in either to us at Edgeley Park or directly to any Vernon Building Society branch.

Thank you for your support!
