Stockport County Community Foundation are delighted to announce an agreement with the SCFC Gold Bond Lottery. The partnership will mean that both sides benefit from each other’s support. The SCFC Development Association will donate a percentage of its profits to the Disability Programme, managed by Stockport County Community Foundation. The Community Foundation will actively seek new members for the Stockport County FC Gold Bond Lottery, while also offering a £5 Soccer School discount to all lottery members.

Tom Quayle, Manager of the SCFC Gold Bond Lottery, said: “On behalf of the Lottery office we are delighted to be able to support the Community Foundation’s Disability Programme with a weekly donation. We are looking forward to working closely with the Community Foundation in order to benefit both the Football Club and the people with disabilities that the Foundation already does a fantastic job in supporting in the local community.

“This is just the first of many ways we aim to help each other and I personally would like to take this opportunity to thank Dave and the Community Foundation office staff for allowing us this opportunity.”

Adrian Rigby-Bates, Disability Football Development Officer for the Community Foundation said; “We are absolutely delighted with our partnership with the Club’s Lottery and very grateful to them for their weekly support with their very kind donation. We are very grateful to receive donations of this type which are invaluable in helping towards funding the Foundation’s valuable services and provision that support children and adults with a range of physical and learning disabilities.

“The Disability Football project is designed to extend physical activity opportunities for disabled adults and young people in Stockport and the local area and increase the opportunity for disabled people to play football and take part in a range of multisport opportunities.”

Everyone at the Community Foundation looks forward to a productive and successful partnership with the SCFC Development Association. If you would like any more information, contact Adrian Rigby-Bates at
