This summer concluded the busiest summer programme of activities and projects to date and what a summer its been!

We worked with new and existing partners such as; Equity Housing, Stockport Homes, Moss Bank Homes, Stockport Power League, Midshire, Cheshire FA and The National League Trust in delivering a range of sporting opportunities for children and young adults throughout Stockport and Tameside. We had great Manager/Player support throughout these courses and would like to thank all our Community Foundation coaches including James Gannon, Sam Minihan and George West for such an exciting summer.

Alongside the funded activities, we ran three weeks of 'traditional' Soccer Courses at Moorfield Primary School, Hazel Grove. During the three weeks we had over 200 children attending the courses and each Friday we were delighted to have different Stockport County players attend the final-day tournament and presentation each week. We also received great player/parent feedback and would like to thank everyone who supported us, as we continue to work hard in developing the next generation of fans and offering them the opportunity to see their local team at Edgeley Park.

If you would like more information about our upcoming holiday courses please feel free to contact us at: communityfoundation@stockportcounty.com or 0161 282 8888 Option 3.
