We are delighted to confirm office technology supplier Midshire® has
renewed its partnership with Stockport County Community Foundation’s
School Coaching Programme for a third consecutive year.
The Midshire Schools Coaching Programme seeks to expand
Stockport County’s work away from Edgeley Park and out into the local
community.
The coaching programme works with local schools to engage children
of all ages in safe, fun environment, developing activities around sport.
The Schools Coaching Programme works with Primary Schools in
Stockport, Tameside and the High Peak to deliver structured sports sessions to
children of all ages and abilities. The main aim of the programme is to engage
with as many children in the community as possible, and give them the
opportunity to take part in physical activities and also give them access to
their local Football Club. Stockport County players Sam Minihan, George West,
Adam Etches and Manager James Gannon are part of the twenty two coaches helping
deliver the Midshire Schools Coaching Programme every week.
Dave Wardle, Stockport County Community Foundation Manager
comments, 'We are very proud to have Midshire supporting our Schools Coaching
Programme once again. The sponsorship renewal comes at a great time for the Foundation,
having been awarded The National League Trust Community Club of the Year in
June. To have such an outstanding company who supports so many charitable
organisations like ourselves in the Stockport area is vital for our
development. Thank you to everyone at Midshire for their continued support
once again".
The SCFC Community Foundation still have exciting opportunities for
sponsorship available for other programmes being delivered. Give the team a
call on 0161-286-8888 option 3 or email dave.wardle@stockportcounty.com for further information.
