ASDA Green Token Giving Scheme Donation to Stockport County Community Foundation towards our Disability Football and Multisport Project

On behalf of everybody at Stockport County Community Foundation I would like to thank Louise Pickup, Laura Biddulph and ASDA Reddish for their very kind donation of £200.00 towards our Disability Football and Multisport project.

This donation was from them very kindly including our charity in their Green Token Giving Scheme instore at Asda Reddish before Christmas and we are delighted as a Foundation to receive such a generous donation towards our disability programme.

As Disability Football Development Officer, I am very proud of the opportunities we offer within our local community to children, young people and adults (Male and Female) with a range of physical and learning disabilities to engage with football and sport and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The Disability Football project that we run is designed to extend physical activity opportunities for disabled adults and young people in Stockport and the local area and increase the opportunity for disabled people to play football and take part in a range of multisport opportunities.

This donation will directly benefit the people who access this project and we are very grateful to receive donations of this type which are invaluable in helping towards funding the Foundationís valuable services and provision that support children, adults, senior citizens and people with disabilities.
