New Directions Education sponsor School tournaments

Stockport County Football Club’s Community Foundation Trust team were delighted recently to enlist for the third season running as main tournament sponsor for their very successful primary schools 6 -a-side tournaments, New Directions Education, who serve the schools in the area from their Manchester branch office. The company were pleased to be able to support the club and the local sports mad schools by signing up again to sponsor the 2014-5 cup competitions.
The Under 11’s competitions are the ‘Tameside Cup’ for schools in that area ,and the ‘Football 4 All’ Cup for Stockport schools. Over 100 schools are expected to take part in the coming months in the two competitions, with the finals for each cup to be played at the Heaton Mersey Power League complex or on the first team pitch at Edgeley Park..
Ian Lees, Chairman of the SCFC Community Foundation said" Over the past three years the support of New Directions has enabled Stockport County Community Foundation to continue our tradition of holding Stockport and Tameside Schools Cup Competitions with over 100 schools taking part in all. Stockport County Community Foundation would like to thank New Directions for their continued and enthusiastic support"
Matthew Bailey, Assistant Community Foundation Manager mentioned "The schools tournaments run across Stockport and Tameside with over 85 schools entering the competition its very popular tournament to enter. We have two finals each year both played at Edgeley Park, this gives the opportunity for youngsters to play in a stadium in front of their school and parents and experience what it would be like to play on a match day. We thank New Directions for their support in sponsoring our School's Cup competition for the 3rd season running."
Competition sponsorship is part of New Directions Education’s commitment to supporting local schools and sport in the community. The company has for a number of years supported similar competitions with Cardiff City, from their headquarters in Cardiff, and with Tranmere Rovers and Oldham Athletic as well as Stockport County in the North West. New Directions Education, with branches across England and Wales, provides recruitment, staffing and training services to all sectors of education.
Amanda Stothard, from New Directions Manchester office said,
