We welcome Hayfield Junior FC as our ball boys for tonight's match against Barrow.

Founded in 2009 through a joint initiative with Marple Sixth Form College and their Football Excellence programme, Hayfield Junior Football Club has grown from a kickabout with a few dads & lads, to a club with close to 130 children from 6 to 16 years old.

We have seven teams in the Stockport Metro Junior Football League competing from under 8s to under 15s. We also have an under 12s girls team playing in the North Manchester Girls League and an under 15 team in the Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League. We run a soccer school for school Year 1 and Year 2 children where the emphasis is based on fun and participation.

All of our coaches are FA qualified and are trained in first aid and child protection. Every coach and volunteer has been CRB checked.

The club were awarded FA Charter Standard status in 2012 in recognition of the clubs commitment to quality coaching and child welfare.

If you have a child that would like to get involved or if you would like to volunteer please get in touch with our Club Secretary Steve Gerrard (sd.gerrard@me.com).

Attending today are: Manager: Alistair Hodgson, Sponsor: Unsworth Funeral Services (Jeremy Unsworth), James Ashenden (Captain), Ben Hodgson, Hayden Brownsword, Samuel Soles, Ethan Griffiths, Sam Moss, Sam Bickley, Matthew Gunson, Connor Blackburn, Frazer Coverley, Sidney Barber
