Today's bucket collection for the Stockport County v Hyde match is for Stroke Information.

Around the ground today you may see representatives from StrokeInformation.co.uk - who are they? well Nick is chairman and ex player and Steward here at SCFC and he joined forces with 3 other Stroke survivors from Stockport to form StrokeInformation.co.uk. The national charity has just lost its funding for Stockport and here is a massive opportunity for StrokeInformation, so if you would like to know more or help please visit the website www.strokeinformation.co.uk. Stroke is the 3rd largest cause of disability in the UK, it can happen to anyone, any age, any sex, any ethnicity.

Stockport County & Stroke - Some of you in the crowd may be aware that Nick had a Stroke in September 2012 and other connections to Stroke at the club are Danny Bergara, who had a couple of Strokes before he passed, Jim Gannon's dad was also impacted by Stroke and the voice of county John "C'mon County" Fitzpatrick has also  been touched by Stroke so Im sure you will see the connection and give generously where you can to this fantastic cause.
