Our Community Foundation team were delighted to be joined at the Barrow match by some key partners who support our successful GOALZ project. This project takes place every Wednesday and Friday evening at Buxton Community School, from 6.00pm until 9.00pm in the High Peak for young adults. The project has been successfully running for over three years with the aim to use football and education to engage young people in areas that have been identified as normally difficult to reach.

This project is funded through the Football Conference Trust with the expert help and guidance of Sue O'Brien who was in attendance along with representatives from our other key funding partners Dave Longbone from High Peak Community Housing, Derbyshire Police and High Peak Borough Council.

We would like to thank everyone involved in allowing this project to keep developing and giving the Community Foundation the opportunity to carry on making a real difference to our community in Stockport, Tameside and the High Peak.
