We recently visited our very successful Goalz project being delivered on a Wednesday and Friday evening at Buxton Community School. The project is funded by many different supporters/partners such as the Football Conference Trust, High Peak Housing, Derbyshire Police and aims us to engage with young adults on a weekly basis and develop their football skills along with many other social skills in order to reduce Anti Social Behaviour in a highlighted area of Buxton. The project is developing very well due to the excellent coaching and leadership skills demonstrated by our coaching team who carry these sessions out each week. Over the last 18 months we have seen over 30 young adults regularly taking part each session and with future plans such as further friendly fixtures, match day visits, the future of this project is very exciting and making a real difference to the community as a whole.
